Training a service dog is a long process, we could even say that it is a life-long process, that requires a lot of time, effort, patience and of course-money. What do we usually do when we meet a cute dog on the street? It is out of the question! We approach him/her, willing to pet him/her or at least we try to make eye contact and talk to him/her. Often it does not even come to our mind to want to talk to the owner first and ask for permission to pet their pet. Some of you may think that this is not a big deal, especially if the dog is small, and looks cute and friendly.
